Tim Naylor - IATSE Local 600:

As a child, it was a trip to Universal Studios that inspired Tim Naylor to become a filmmaker. Fast forward, he attended NYU's Graduate Film Program. winning several awards including: the Warner Brother's Production Award and 1st Prize for Best Short Film at the American Independent Film and Video Festival.

Upon leaving school, Tim began working in camera, cutting his teeth in New York's independent feature world. Now, having expanded his range to include commercials, music videos, docs and broadcast, Tim has developed a high degree of craft and professionalism. Always looking for new and innovative ways to shoot, he still never loses sight of a project's dramatic mission and possibilities.

Be it from science, arts or literature, he grabs inspiration wherever he can find it. But perhaps Tim's strongest ideas come from everyday life. Not a day goes by where something doesn't turn his head and make him ask: “wouldn't that look great on film?”
