Biography
As a child, a trip to Universal Studios planted the idea of becoming a filmmaker. Fast forward, Tim moved to NYC to attend NYU's Graduate Film Program. Winning several awards, including: the Warner Brothers Production Award, and 1st Prize for Best Short at the American Independent Film and Video Festival, he graduated with distinction.
For the feature “Horror”, he won Best Cinematography at the NYC International Horror FF. Recently, he lensed the Warner Bros feature “And Then Came Love”, starring Vanessa Williams and Eartha Kitt. He has also directed, dp’d and edited several music videos and promos for major label’s such as Universal Music Group, Atlantic, Geffen and Def Jam.
For broadcast, he recently shot episodes of BET’s Access Granted, E Channel’s “It’s Good to Be” and BET’s hit series, “American Gangster”. On the corporate end his clients have included high profile companies such as Sharp, Adidas, Canon, and Shiseido.
Always adaptable, Tim’s at home in all genres and formats, applying his skills to everything from features, docs, videos to commercials.
